Another way I’m trying new products is by subscribing to beauty boxes like Boxycharm, Target beauty box, and soon I’ll get my first Sephora Play box.
From Boxycharm I got some fake eyelashes, new brushes, and an amazing eye shadow pallet by Tarte featuring some cool neutral colors.
From Colourpop I bought some incredibly affordable lippies. I was pretty much freaking out when I noticed they stayed on my lips for an entire 9.5 hour workday. They are amazing and they were only $6 each (sale was actually buy 2 get 1 free, SCORE!)
The loot with the Sephora bag was two perfumes I got with perfume certificates, Marc Jacobs mascara I exchanged my mascara certificate for, and my first BECCA purchase that began my BECCA addiction. I have always loved Flower Bomb perfume even before the song made it popular and I wanted another light clean scent and Gucci Bamboo was perfect. Marc Jacobs mascara was the only one that gave my lashes volume and length. Some of the other mascaras were great at lengthening and separating but they lacked giving extra volume. The BECCA blurring powder really is as good as everyone says it is. It has a bit of a shimmer to it that makes you glow without looking sparkly or shiny. I have a goal to make my skin look like a photo filtered image. Its a work in progress.
